About Project

Water is a crucial resource for humans, animals and the environment itself. Large proportions of water are being utilised mainly in industries, homes and agriculture. This project entails the monitoring of how well the soil is storing water for crops across a land to inform agriculture role players who are farmers, soil scientists and municipality planners via an application for proper water management.

IoT comes in use to provide a rich layer of sensors collecting data and feeding it to the user as usable information. Drones can be assisting in data muling to allow the carriage of data to the an access point, which is connected to an internet middleware infrastructure, hence to user apps.
